Nowadays, with the development of Chinese, Chinese educational business of our country have also been more and more attentive. In order to effectively improve the teaching quality of TCFL, the paper make a comparative study between the material of California primary school Wonders and the Chinese version of primary school teaching material Chinese. As the most important part of teaching material is architecture and selection of articles, so the article makes comparative study against the both teaching material structure arrangement and selection system. The author collates and analyzes the similarities and differences of the structure arrangement and selection system of both primary school language teaching material by the documentary method and comparative method, and then determine the specific content of the whole paper. The concrete content is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction part, including the research background, research significance, research methods and research status. The research background is mainly based on the differences between Chinese and foreign education, borrows the important education concept from foreign; research meaning mainly discuss from the importance of primary education and Chinese international education; the research methods including literature method and contrast method; research status respectively reviews from the whole of teaching materials and some teaching material systems.The second chapter is about the features of Wonders layout structure, which respectively study from the overall architecture of textbooks, single copies of architecture structure, unit structure and lesson structure four aspects. Specifically, introducing the overall structure is from the pages and envelope; introducing the single copies structure is from the directory design and unit theme; introducing unit structure is from the unit title, main theme and week theme etc.;analyzing the lessons structure is from the Words, Texts, Genre,Vocabulary Strategy, Writing Traits and so on.The third chapter is about layout structure features of Chinese, which mainly analyzed from the overall architecture of textbooks, single copies, lesson and group. Specifically, introducing the overall structure is from the pages and envelope; introducing the single copies structure is from the directory design and unit theme; introducing unit structure is from the lesson, Chinese language field and activities; analyzing the lessons structure is from the texts and study guide(words, read and write, read and consider).The fourth chapter is about selection system features of Wonders, which respectively researched from the selected text genre and selection features. In this chapter, the classification is made for the genre of textbook selection, and the data statistics and analysis is made for the genre distribution of each type of text. This chapter also analyzes and summaries the selection features from the life, science popularization, moral education and interest stimulation.The fifth chapter is about selection system features of Chinese, which respectively researched from the selected text genre and selection features. This chapter not only lists selection genres and classify them, but also makes systematic statistics and analysis against the genre ratio for each type of article, and then makes conclusion and argument on selection features from selected text language, the source and selection content.The sixth chapter is about comparative analysis and revelations. This chapter has detailed comparison from overall architecture of textbooks, single copies of architecture structure, unit structure and lesson structure of two teaching materials, and also from selection genres and selection features, on the basis of which the advise to improve the quality of Chinese and Chinese international education is proposed.The last chapter is conclusion, summarizes the main view, innovation and deficiency of this article.
