Along with social progress and the development of higher education,students’ managem ent work as well as for diversification, has entered a new period, which brings about an oppo rtunity for college counselors work, but also a deeper challenge. Xinjiang is located in Chi na of Northwest border, in anti-split, and anti-Westernized of frontier positions, should er with promoted Xinjiang University students education work of task, and counselor i s carried out students daily thought education of backbone power. Xinjiang the Univer sity must to improve full national of quality education for target, for training new era of high quality talent, against national separatist and illegal religious activities to Uni versity penetration, effective maintenance national unity and social of stable, efforts co nstruction a support political quality high, and designed and combined, and structure r easonable of high quality counselor team, To further strengthen and improve the ideologica l and political education work for college students, a solid basis for maintaining stability in Xinjiang.This paper from the perspective of human resource management, based on the special r egion of Xinjiang, after further analysis of the actual situation and various colleges and uni versities in Xinjiang, has prepared a questionnaire of instructors in colleges and universitie s. Surveys in 5 universities started in Urumqi, Xinjiang, instructors’ team structure,working c onditions working enthusiasm, guidance counselors, how to improve the selection and appra isal mechanisms, training for instructors,coaches’ salary satisfaction and career planning, selec ting a random sample of 250 counselors, aiming at understanding the status quo of instructo rs in colleges and universities in Xinjiang. By using SWOT and SPSS Regression analysi s methods, found that due to the instructor on vocational orientation is not clear, the lack o f professionalism,training and evaluation system, incentive enough reasons, there are generall y equipped with insufficient professional sense of belonging is not strong, professional and t echnical capacity needs to be improved,lack of bilingual communication skills and knowledg e of religion, and so on. According to instructors in colleges and universities in Xinjiang:p roblems and cause analysis, according to the survey results, learn from advanced manageme nt system of colleges and universities, from the instructors themselves, career planning an d management system of, and make recommendations for strengthening the construction of c ollege counselors in Xinjiang.
