This project is mainly based on the guiding ideology and basic request of the historical new curriculum standard and high school history teaching guidance,Zhejiang, as well as educational practice, taking the high school textbooks of history(the version of people)as original source.Meanwhile, The object for this project is the development of high school elective school-based history curriculum and the course of medieval history is the priority for this research, in order to further supplement the deficiency of high school history teaching material, improving students’ interest for history study.The thesis includes some history issues that students are interested in for further analysis and takes history images and stories as exclusivematerials, stimulating students’ interest in learning and exploring history,especially history of middle ages, thus forming a better understanding of the vivid and diverse characteristic of history. Also, it helps students develop a good studying habit and a objective and critical thinking method for analyzing history events and eventually learn how to take history as a mirror, analyzing contemporary social problems in the same way.The thesis is divided into six parts. Part 1 is about introduction, the reasons for this research, researching methods and significance, as well as the understanding of the history elective curriculum and its development and its existing problems; part 2 is about the researching methods and values of the development of high school-based history courses in medieval history, and it also analyzes respectively in terms of students,schools, teachers; part 3 is about the theoretical basis of this project,respectively starting with the theoretical basis on the development of school-based curriculum and the history of the middle ages curriculum,with the purpose of seeking for the school-based courses theoretical support; part 4 is about the practice and experiment for this project,focusing on the analysis of the developing conditions and plans, thus making a proper plan through the analysis of the condition for course study, students and school, forming a perfect curriculum development system; Part 5 is about the potential and existing problems for this projectand lessons researchers have to learn form it, this part specifies in summarizing the problems in the process of development and afterwards consequences, and then researchers’ considerations and inspirations in this issue, further perfecting the development of this project. Part 6 is about conclusion, mainly for the summary of the whole paper.(Questionnaires and school-based teaching materials on this issue are enclosed.)...
