Information technology has become an essential part of people’s learning, working and life. The ability of using information technology tools has become an essential skills for people. With the constantly updated and the advancement of the technology, people should keep up with times to improve the skills of information technology application. The current educational requirements for the use of information technology is emphasized in article 5 of the basic concept of course in 2011 edition compulsory mathematics curriculum standards. This study mainly discusses the content of national mathematics textbooks which relate to information technology between three different countries. With analyzing their similarities and differences in mathematics textbooks content related to IT, this study also explores effective ways to integrate information technology into mathematics education, and put forward several referential proposals for mathematics textbooks’ compilation and mathematics teaching.Applying the methods of content analysis and comparison to compare the United States, Singapore and the PEP textbooks’ content with IT applications, from number and algebra, graphics and geometry, statistics and probability three parts. The study found that the United States’ requirement for students in the application of information technology is relatively high, require students to master and use graphing calculators, spreadsheets, Geometer’s Sketchpad and other IT tools, and with the widest breadth of IT applications related to more content and require more difficult operation; Singapore textbook’s requirements for students is similarly high, expect students to master and use spreadsheets and Geometer’s Sketchpad, the operation are more difficult, but the range of applications is narrow; our textbook’s requirement of the application for information technology is slack, relative to the other two versions of the textbook. The graphing calculator, spreadsheet and Sketchpad are limited to know, and the range of applications is narrow, operating difficulty is also relatively simple. Come up with writing the textbook and teaching suggestions as expanding the range of Geometer’s Sketchpad, spreadsheets, graphing calculators and other tools’ application; devising more activities which allow students to use technology tools to explore knowledge, cooperate and communicate; aggrandizing activities guiding students use IT tools to solve practical problems.
