Experimental observation is not only the necessary and basic ability for students to learn scientific knowledge, but also the ability request of the chemistry as a subject.It is important for students to train the chemistry experimental observation ability,improve the scientific comprehensive quality, realize the quality-oriented educational target in new curriculum, and make schools pay much more attention to senior students innovation and practice ability.The dissertation based on the observation quality is a measure of observation ability level, on the basis of literature analysis to construct the chemical experimental observation ability factor evaluation framework, compiled the evaluation of students’ observing ability, sets a research on the 193 senior one students in a middle school of Dingxi Gansu Province. the study of the students’ ability of experimental observation,the present status of experimental observation ability to understand them, provide the basis for evaluating students’ chemistry experimental observation ability.and draw a conclusion by putting forward teaching suggestions.we find that:First,Work ticket has the good reliability and validity.Second,The students in senior one are wholly in the middle developmental level,most students’ chemical observation ability are strong or common, and the observation ability of indexes are balanced developed.Third,Students of different gender don’t have obvious discrepancy in chemistry experimental observation.Fourth,Students who have high scores in chemistry also has high score in experimental observation.Fifth,Through the analyze of the work ticket, we find that students cannot roundly and carefully observe chemical experiments. For the inflexible observation methods, the delicate phenomenon cannot be seen. Meanwhile, students don’t have clear aim and direction, and cannot draw right conclusion. And the records of operation are not standard. Students don’t do well in asking questions and evaluation.At last, on the basic of study result, combined with my teaching experience and feelings, this paper put forward these suggestions in order to effectively cultivate and improve students’ chemistry experimental observation ability:First,Carefully prepare experiments, and pay more attention to experiments teaching.Second,Make the model experiments very well.Third,Train students’ experiments observation ability onpurpose.Fourth,Lead students to make sure the purpose and key points. Help them to develop the careful and obligingly observation habit.rimental observation. Fifth, Use different kinds of judgmental methods in common teaching time and encourage students to ask doubtful questions.
