Observing is the beginning of physics learning,at the same time,students' physical observation ability is one of the constituents of physics learning ability.Cultivating students' physical observation ability not only can lay the solid foundation for physics learning,but also can fully improve students' scientific literacy,which has significance for achieving the goal of quality education in new curriculum reform and urging schools to pay more attention to students' innovative ability and practical ability.Combining with the theory of pedagogy,psychology,and physics education psychology,this dissertation,based on high school students,deeply explores and analyzes their existing physical observation ability through various means including literature analysis,questionnaires,and written tests.Achievements of the project will provide some theoretical guidance for investigating and cultivating students' physical observation ability.The work done in this paper and the results achieved are as follows:1.Based on the literature analysis,the definitions of high school students' physical observation and observation ability are clarified.Knowing the students' psychological characteristics of observation through the literature analysis,we can propose that the structure of the physical observation ability of high school students,namely the quality of observation,can be composed of the teleonomy,rationality,understanding,sensitivity,creativity,and objectivity.at the same time,considering that students'observation quality can't be separated from specific observation activities,they are also influenced by non-intelligence factors.Based on those,the evaluation index of observation ability is constructed.2.Questionnaire survey found that:The overall physical observation ability of students is still acceptable,and it is in the middle and upper school,and the development of each quality is relatively balanced.In order to detect students' observation ability more truly,three physical observation activities have been carried out.but the conclusions are inconsistent with the before:the actual level of observation ability is in the middle and even lower,and the development of every observation quality is uneven,with the lowest level of creative development.Thus,it is necessary to pay attention to the student's views on observation and observational methods;3.On the basis of the above,taking the textbook of the senior high school physics compulsory(1)as a guide,we propose effective strategies for cultivating and improving the physical observation ability of high school students:(1)Realizing the importance of observation;(2)Stimulating observational interest;(3)Teaching students skills about observing;(4)Improving students' teleonomy,sensitivity,objectivity,and creativity;(5)Cultivating the habits of students' observation;It is hoped that these strategies will work.
