The ordinary high school ideological and political course standard requires clearly that the teachers should encourage the students to think independently, actively explore, experience the discovery process of knowledge and cultivate students’ pragmatic attitude and creative spirit in the high school ideological and political lesson teaching. Obviously, the spiritual essence of “exploration-found” teaching mode is the same as it.The main idea of “exploration-found” teaching mode is to fully play the main role of students, let the students fully experience the occurrence, development and the forming process of knowledge, stimulate students’ innovation consciousness, cultivate the ability of creative thinking of students in teaching. Only analysis of the connotation of “exploration-found” teaching mode is not enough, thus this paper analyzes the characteristics of “exploration-found” teaching mode from the level of teachers, students and teacher-student interaction. The “exploration-found” teaching mode should pay attention to the teacher’s guide and establishment of the new “three views” of teachers from the level of the teachers. The “exploration-found” teaching mode should pay attention to the students’ initiative and subjectivity, the students’ intuition thinking and the extraction of information of the students, the process of learning and students’ internal learning motivation from the level of the students. The “exploration-found” teaching mode should pay attention to mutual respect, mutual development and emotional communication between teachers and students from the level of teacher-student interaction. In addition, this paper carefully analyzes the contemporary value of the “exploration-found” teaching mode from the view of the teachers, students and teaching.The study on teaching mode should service for teaching, the teaching model will ultimately be used to teaching practice. This paper mainly analyzes the specific application of the “exploration-found” teaching mode from the use of the conditions, the implementation strategy and the implementation steps in the high school ideological and political lesson. The implementation steps include the following five aspects that establishing specific and measurable targets of teaching, creating the situation and guiding students to start learning new knowledge, putting forward the hypothesis and find the direction and method of discovery, guiding the students to explore and testing the hypothesis, solving problems with the acquired knowledge and achieving the level of application. Of course, any kind of teaching mode is not perfect, the “exploration-found” teaching mode is not exception. We should pay attention to the problem mainly from three aspects of teaching, teachers, and students when we use the “exploration-found” teaching mode in the high school ideological and political lesson. From the analysis of teaching, the “exploration-found” teaching mode should be used in combination with a variety of teaching methods and the teachers must be flexible enough to deal with emergencies. From the analysis of teachers, teachers should understand and trust students, make a positive guidance, but also to improve their own quality. From the analysis of students, the students should master the scientific learning method and the students’ subject consciousness should be cultivated.
