Lesson study originating in Japan’s Meiji restoration period, has a history of nearly 150 years of. In Japan, lesson study is a very mature practice, and in the 1980 s, the lesson study was passed to the United States, soon the experts and scholars showed great interest in it, and achieved good effect. In China, lesson study was begun in the turn of the century, up to now it has only 10 years of history. The lesson study can improve the level of teaching skills and the quality of teaching, it can also enrich the teaching methods and cultivate students’ non-intelligence factors. When the author taught physics in the junior middle school, the found that many teachers require students to use mechanical memory to remember the physics knowledge in the teaching process, some teachers even require students to copy the physics knowledge three times and then write them three times. What is more, some teachers in physics class only spent 15 minutes asking students drawing the key words on the book,then doing a lot of questions. Therefore, the author chooses the topic of lesson study, aims to complete a lesson study to explore the junior middle school physics effective teaching strategies, and to find the general pattern of lesson study in junior middle school physics class. Through this study, the author wants to find out deficiencies in classroom teaching, to improve the teaching ability, and by comparing the before and after scores of the two class, the author wants to explore that the lesson study can improve the quality of teaching or not..The first chapter is a rational discussion of the lesson study, introduces the the Lesson Study connotation, characteristics and domestic and foreign research. Lesson study has the character of research, collaboration, situational and practical. In the beginning of the century, Lesson study has been set off worldwide, and has achieved some results.The second chapter mainly introduces the the practice research objectives of the lesson study, research and research methods, the contents of the study is the buoyancy of the junior high school physics.The third chapter introduces the practice of lesson study, the analysis of the reviews classroom record and buoyancy test scores. From the results of the analysis, the author finds that lesson study can solve the problems of students in learning and t improve teachers’ teaching level.The last chapter is the reflection of the practice of Lesson Study and some of the conclusions obtained by the practice. The practice of lesson study terms is very smooth, but in the process also encountered some problems, in this practice of lesson study, the author proposes the general steps of the junior high school physics lesson study, and from a Lesson extended to a discipline, and combined with the historical development of Japanese Lesson Study, the author take out a number of recommendations.
