The Change Of Perception Of Fuzhou Citizens On National Youth Games In 2015, And The Research Of Influence Of Their Support Level From The Perspective Before The Games

National Youth Games (NYG) is significant for the development of host city, it, Fuzh ou. The NYG has been affecting economy, social civilization and environment of Fuzhou in terms of positive and negative sides. Fuzhou citizens who are organizers of the games h ave direct perceptions of NYG, and the degree of their support depends on their perceptio ns to some extent. As a consequence, the study of relationships between citizens’ support and perception is important. The methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logic analysis etc will be adopted in this research. The relationship between citizens’ support and their perception will be explained and analyzed by ways of the perception analysis, societal exchange theory and questionnaire. The main results of this study are as follows:A). The support level changes with dwellers’ age, demonstrating that the support level of those younger than 18 and older than 65 is significantly higher than that of other age groups. The longer time they live in Fuzhou, the more support they are likely to pay.B). The factors of negative impacts of Fuzhou citizens include social environmental issues (SEI) and economic costs (EC) while the positive involves urban appearance (UA), the sense of belonging (SB), economic income (EI) and sport activities (SA). Especially, the feelings of SEI, UA, SB and El are substantially stronger than that of SA and EC for Fuzhou residents, which indicates that Fuzhou inhabitants maintain a support attitude to NYG positive perceptions, in contrast to the neutral attitude to NYG negative attitude.C). The cluster analysis resident is divided into three groups involving types of reservation, love and rational support. The residents are satisfied with NYG in general.D). There perceived benefit factor "the appearance of the city and a sense of belonging","economic income" and "Sports" to support have significant positive influence.Two perceived cost factor"of social and environmental ssues" and "economic cost" of support has anegative effect, on two 2014 October and 2015 survey compared February, because theconstruction will bring the problem of traffic jam and environmental pollution, the residentssupport is found a slight downward trend, but the perceived benefits far greater than theperceived cost, therefore, the majority of residents support on the Fuzhou gamesdevelopment. E). There are three suggestions as follows:1). Strengthen supervision mechanism so as to a cost planning reduction that NYG brings.2) to achieve a long-term development 3). To share with benefits from NYG and make rules and regulations as soon as possible.
