With the increase of students in universities, college graduates face more severe employment situation. To improve the students’ employment ability, ensuring students’ employment, the universities paid attention to the construction of career curriculum in universities. The related educational departments also have issued relevant institutional guarantee the construction of college career curriculum.Until recent years, the career curriculum was extensively developed as a real course in universities. It’s inevitable that there exist many aspects to be completed at beginning. Student satisfaction has become the important indicators of course quality because of the lacking scientific curriculum evaluation system for career curriculum. This study tries to answer following questions:(1) How did the degree of achievement in the career curriculum? (2) What’s the students’ satisfaction of career curriculum content? (3) What’s the students’ satisfaction of career curriculum construction? (4) What’s the students’ satisfaction of career curriculum implementation?To study the present situation and problem of career curriculum in Jiangsu local undergraduate university, the author select A, B, C three universities in Nanjing area as research school. The author studies the career curriculum of local colleges in Jiangsu province through literature research, questionnaire method and interview method. Through the research the author found that:1. The three college students’ mean satisfaction of career curriculum goal setting is 2.84, the standard deviation is 0.56, and a total of 79% students are satisfied with the course goal. And they think that employment guidance curriculum can fulfill their basic learning goals.2. The mean satisfaction of career curriculum content is 3.61, there are 82.6% students’ score between 3-4, only 24 students feel very satisfied with the contents of the career curriculum content. Therefore, sample school students’ overall satisfaction with the career curriculum contents is in basic satisfaction level. But students’ satisfaction of career planning is lower than other contents.3. Students satisfaction for teachers is 3.51, with 44.2% student think the teacher ought get 3 score. The author compare of mean satisfaction with teachers of three university though the analysis of variance, F (189,2)= 14.469, P< 0.05, meaning that significant difference exists among three universities to teacher’s satisfaction, in which A school student to teacher’s satisfaction is 3.93. It’s the highest score. B, C two school students basic for the teachers’ satisfaction is 3.30, therefore, A school students overall situation of the teachers is satisfactory, B and C two school employment guidance curriculum expectations, there is still A big gap between the teachers and students.4. Through the study of employment guidance course,72.2% students think that their skills of job searching and interviewing have improved significantly; 57.2% students think that there’re a rapid development of their ability to obtain information for job hunting; 56.7% students improve their quality of employment psychology.Compared with other colleges and universities across the country, college students’ satisfaction of career curriculum in Jiangsu Province is higher. However, there are some aspects that students do not satisfy. To improve the quality of career curriculum in university, we should do like this:first of all, colleges and universities should focus more attention on the importance to the career curriculum construction. Secondly, improve the construction of career planning content in the career curriculum. Thirdly, university should further optimize the structure of employment guidance course. Increase the lessons of career course, at the same time increase the number of elective courses. Fourthly, Put more attention on the evaluation of career curriculum. And promote the development of career curriculum through various curriculum evaluate methods.
