The traditional Chinese Confucian culture contains rich positive personality traits and cultivation methods,which are still playing an important role in the future development of Chinese descendants.Western positive psychology is for the human blossom potential and positive qualities such as virtue,which coincides with the positive personality in Chinese Confucian culture.Subjective well-being is a principal benchmark to measure individual mental health.Middle school is the key stage of individual physical and mental development.Students in adolescence will face many psychological development problems due to academic pressure,interpersonal relationship processing and other aspects.This study of middle school students' positive personality traits of the Confucian culture and analyzes the relationship between subjective well-being,by discussing middle school students' positive psychological quality level for the level of subjective well-being prediction function,for improving middle school students' SWB,and can enhance middle school students' mental health and prevent mental health problems.In this study,1,012 middle school students from four middle schools in Tianjin were tested using the Positive Psychological Quality Scale and the Adolescent Subjective Well-being Scale under Confucian culture.The data was investigated and researched using SPSS.The results were as follows:(1)The positive psychological quality and SWB of middle school students were generally at an upper-middle level;middle school boys and only children,compared with girls and non-only children,their positive psychological quality and subjective well-being have developed better;with the increase of academic performance,their positive psychological quality and subjective well-being have gradually improved.(2)The positive psychological quality and and positive psychological quality of key middle school students is higher than ordinary middle school students.(3)The positive psychological quality of middle school students has a predictive effect on subjective well-being.Positive psychological quality positively predicts life satisfaction and positive emotions,and negatively predicts negative emotions.
