As a quality,positive psychological quality has certain stability.The positive psychological quality of junior high school students in the critical period of growth not only has stability,but also has a strong plasticity.At home and abroad,there are mature studies on the components of positive mental quality,including 5C model,character advantage model,development resource model,target life skills model / 4-h model,and Chinese teenagers’ positive quality localization model.Group psycho logical counseling as a psychological guidance technology,through the design good community counseling program in advance by the team leader according to the size of the members,and the theme of the tutoring active intervention,so as to improve members of the mental state,psychological quality,interpersonal skills,emotional management ability,mental flexibility,promote members of the development of ego and personality,develop their happiness.The use of group counseling as a technique to develop positive traits in adolescents is still immature.Of this study is to through the use of group psychological guidance technology improve the level of junior high school students positive psychological quality,rich in positive ways for the cultivation of the psychological quality,and to promote technology group psychological guidance,in response to the primary and middle school mental health education guidance outline of the concept:the tendency to avoid China make mental health course,promote the development of diversification of mental health education.The research tool was the positive psychological quality scale of middle school students compiled by Qun Guan and Wanjing Meng of the institute of psychology,Chinese academy of sciences.Using the methods of quantitative research method,literature method research: using the middle school students’ positive mental quality scale test 2 grade’s student,followed by members of the group psychological guidance to recruit and select applicants 14 people voluntarily become the intervention group,according to a pretest scores,gender,origin,variables such as the age of 14 screened with homogeneity the members of the control group.The intervention group received one 1.5 hour group counseling every Sunday for 8 weeks.The control group received no intervention.At 8 weeks after the end of the pretest and 16 weeks after the end of the intervention group and the control group respectively,the scale score data of the intervention group and the control group were obtained by using the "positive psychological quality scale of middle school students" for posttest and follow-up posttest.Data analysis results showed that: 1.After independent sample T test,the data analysis of the pre-test of the intervention group and the control group showed homogeneity.2.After the independent sample T test,the post-test results of the intervention group and the control group were significantly different,and the positive psychological quality score of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group.3.After the paired sample T test,there was a significant difference between the pre-test result and the post-test result of the positive psychological quality in the intervention group,indicating that the score of positive psychological quality was significantly improved after the group psychological counseling.4.The follow-up test data after 2 months showed that the positive psychological quality level of the intervention group was still significantly different from that of the pre-test,and the overall score,justice and moderation dimensions were significantly different.There was no significant difference between the follow-up test and the posttest,indicating the persistence of group psychological counseling.5.There was no significant difference between the follow-up test data and the pretest data of the control group.There was no significant difference in each dimension of posttest data.It was concluded that there was a significant difference between the change of the positive psychological quality of the control group and that of the intervention group within 4 months,indicating that the group psychological counseling significantly improved the positive psychological quality of the intervention group,and the improvement level was still maintained two months after the end of the intervention,and the effect was lasting.
