The intensification of international competition enables countries to reform education in succession, and use national power to promote education information process. Among them, teaching methods are the inner core of education information, and the reform of teaching methods is also one of the main contents of educational information.Regional geography is a combination of natural geography and human geography, and is the foundation and framework of the whole teaching of geography. Regional geography is used throughout the primary school, middle school and university of the geography education from beginning to end, regional geography have a very important proportion in the college entrance examination, which should arouse the attention of the school and the relevant departments. However, geography belongs to a small subject. Therefore, regional geography teaching has not been paid enough attention resulting in the fact that regional geography is always taught in a traditional way of teaching as the dominant method, and teaching to the test, which seriously distorts the essence of regional geographic education, and suppresses the enthusiasm of the students learning geography.Since the new curriculum reform, the new curriculum standards has been carried out and the information teaching is born, so that the teaching outlook of regional geography takes on an altogether new aspect and the teaching mode of regional geography takes on the revolutionary changes. So, what is the information teaching of regional geography? Compared with the traditional teaching, what are the advantages is there in the information teaching? What factors influence the application of regional geographic information teaching? In regional geography teaching, what effect does the information teaching have on earth? Around the similar problems, in order to promote the application of information teaching in regional geography teaching and promote the reform and modernization of regional geography teaching mode, the paper shows a profound research,According to the spirit from the theory to the practice principle, taking the GIS aided teaching as an example, the article has the qualitative and quantitative analysis on information teaching of regional geography. The main research contents are as follows:(1) the definition of information in the modern sense of teaching; (2) the analysis and evaluation of application status, comparative advantage, influencing factors and feasibility on information teaching of regional geography; (3) taking "hazard and control of desertification" as an example, it uses GIS to design the teaching case of regional geographic information; (4) teaching experiments are had on teaching effect with information and multimedia teaching of quantitative analysis and empirical research.Finally, it draws the main conclusions:(1)it is still low in our country that the level of information teaching popularization and application in regional geography teaching; (2) compared with the traditional teaching and multimedia teaching, information teaching has the superiority and there is nothing comparable to this; (3)they are the main influential factors of information teaching on the promotion and popularization in regional geography teaching in China that economic strength, GIS’s own nature, teaching and management mechanism and the lack of talent; (4) from an overall perspective, China already has the condition of large area to promote the use of the information teaching. |
