Currently core strength training theory is gradually accepted by Chinese competitive sports and tried to be applied to many competitions in training. But domestic research on core strength training is still in the primary stage, and research on core strength training methods and means of volleyball players develops more slowly. The study of the core strength training of volleyball course in common colleges and universities has not been carried out.The purpose of this paper is to spread core strength training theory and method to students majoring in volleyball to the ordinary university, and explore to sum up how to improve the training methods and means of leaping ability quickly and efficiently among students majoring in volleyball in the ordinary university, in order to help it better enhance the level of physical fitness as well as technical and tactical level. Finally by the effect of the volleyball jumping ability to quantify the variations of all the index data core strength training of volleyball students in ordinary universities jumping ability the paper Comprehensive theoretical analysis of the results of the study, Combined with the sports physiology, sports anatomy, sports training and other related theoriesThis article uses the literature material method, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, teaching experiments and mathematical statistics research methods, select 20 male students from the athletics volleyball special class in 2011 level Jiangsu Teacher-training Academy Physical Culture Institute as the research object. Both groups are under the same training time and the condition of training. The control group with traditional strength trainingGroup in the traditional strength training(all training frequency in half) added on the basis of core strength training methods for training.Conclusions:(1)After 12 weeks of group training, the control group reflects the volleyball students while jumping ability of 8 indicators have different degree of ascension, but significant difference only exist in situ longitudinal hands touch jump and standing long jump. Therefore, the traditional strength training is an effective training method, but from the volleyball springing quality comprehensive coordinated development point of view, there are many shortcomings.(2)After 12 weeks of group training, the experimental group reflects 8 indicators of the volleyball students jumping ability grades have significant improvement. Therefore, in the ordinary university volleyball class on the basis of traditional strength training, adding the core strength training can effectively improve the level of volleyball students’ jumping ability.(3)By means of testing the eight indicators of the control group and experimental group after the experiment: The control group and experimental group have significant difference in six indicators: touch high run-up lateral takeoff, jump run-up vertical single hand high, run high jump forward one hand touch, vertical jump to touch high ten times in a row, double wave rope skipping 30 seconds count, place empty vertical jump time. It demonstrates core strength plays an important role in the process of takeoff, aloft in different directions, the whole body coordination.(4) Through the study of the game of volleyball action reveals a variety of bounce: the core area of muscle strength, stability, and enhance the ability of balance, enabling transfer of power between the various aspects of the body more effectively, make the body work more efficiently, and can so that the body control and balance in the air in different directions stronger, the body’s ability to make the body stronger coordination, so that a variety of volleyball competition jumping ability to get a significant upgrade.(5)In special jumping ability of volleyball teaching training, don’t blindly emphasis on core strength, consider other parts of the coordinated development of strength to prevent the power imbalance.
