In preparation for College Entrance Exam, teachers should teach students practical learning methods in the limited time and energy. The students in ordinary high schools are generally weak in foundation. There are a lot of difficulties existing in the mathematics review such as memory difficulty, knowledge application difficulty, problem-solving difficulty and so on. In order to solve these problems and to improve the students’ thinking ability and the efficiency of class teaching. The article as the carrier of high school mathematics teaching and learning aims at researching the application of Mind Mapping in review teaching. Focusing on the research process and the pros and cons of several teaching cases, the article will analyze how Mind Mapping guides students to sort out the logical relationships among knowledge and help students self-construct knowledge systems to improve application of knowledge flexibility and memory efficiency. In this article, it will be discussed how the method of taking advantage of Mind Mapping guides students to use the memorizing information or to sort out the problem-solving clues. The research will also lead students to present what they are thinking in words so as to cultivate students’ ability to apply knowledge and thinking skills.By comparatively analyzing the average, the pass rate and low rate of exam results in the experimental class, the study shows that Mind Mapping as a learning strategy has a strong operability in senior year teaching; Mind Mapping can promote students’ memory as well as improve the ability of knowledge construction. It is obviously functional for poor students to train their own ability to solve problems through Mind Mapping effectively and clarifies the problem-solving ideas in mathematical problems. Mind Mapping has a much bigger influence on poor students.
