Mind Mapping,also known as Brain Mapping,which is a learning tool developed by British educator Tony Bazin.It is based on a central vocabulary as a starting point,and according to their own understanding in the basic schema,the constructors expand and extend the relative knowledge to express the logical relationship between knowledge through nodes and links.These relationships can be emphasized and expressed by some aspects such as the image,color and symbols.Ultimately,the tool that using visual knowledge map to represent the way of thinking is called Mind Mapping.The field of application has been gradually broadened since the development of the Mind Mapping.Applying the Mind Mapping into education has become a topic that more and more educators pay attention to.On the basis of reading the related documents of Mind Mapping and drawing on the teaching experience of front-line teachers,the author combines practical experience of using Mind Mapping in high school geography teaching and find the following points: the construction of Mind Mapping is flexible and high school students have mastered the basic knowledge,and have strong ability of knowledge construction and their interest in learning geography is also thick and so on,which lay the foundation for the application of the Mind Mapping in the review.In teaching practice,it is fully realized that the use of Mind Mapping in high school geography review is a very effective way to improve students' learning efficiency.Formulate the Mind Mapping evaluation system and promote the internalization of Mind Mapping can further arouse the enthusiasm of students to learn geography,cultivate students' ability of independent inquiry and cooperation and exchange,but also help to develop students' divergent thinking and comprehensive thinking ability.Combine Mind Mapping with routine learning methods can help students to learn comprehensively and master the content of knowledge.The author's research on how to better internalize the student's Mind Mapping scientifically is not deep enough,so further improving this part of research is the future aim of the author.In order to better practice the ordinary high school geography curriculum and cultivate students' geographical core accomplishment as well as to improve the teaching efficiency,I hope my colleagues who are interested in this study to join us so as to providesome teaching ideas and methods.
