The Analysis Of The Effect Of Changes Of Population Age Structure To Economic Growth In Xinjiang

Xinjiang economy development is relatively backward.The ecological environment is very fragile. The current population age structure is the adult population structure in Xinjiang and is becoming to Aged population structure. With the advent of population aging in Xinjiang, the advantage of Xinjiang’s population age structure gradually decreases and will have a profound effect on the economic growth of Xinjiang.This paper mainly studies the effects of age structure variation to the economic growth in Xinjiang. Comprehensive use of literature analysis, empirical analysis, comparative analysis and other methods to study the effect of Xinjiang population age structure variation caused by changes in labor input to economic growth, and the effect of population age structure variation caused by children dependency ratio, elderly dependency ratio, changes in the natural growth rate influence on savings and consumption, and impact on economic growth in Xinjiang.The following relevant conclusions:First, the variation of population age structure of Xinjiang present the percent of their children population declining year by year, the percent of labor population is increasing year by year. The average age of the working population is rising year by year. The percent of older people is rising year by year.Second, the increase of labor input caused by the population age structure variation is promoting effect on economic growth. The growth of total dependency ratio of labor population has obvious inhibitory effect on economic growth. Third, the increase of the children dependency ratio of labor population add significant inhibitory effect to Xinjiang residents savings, and plays a significant role in the economic growth of Xinjiang.The increasing of elderly dependency ratio in Xinjiang residents savings of existence,but the result was not significant. The increasing of Children dependency ratio plays a significant role in the increase of per capital consumption, and has promoting effect on economic growth indirectly.The increasing of the elderlydependency ratio exist a certain degree of inhibition on per consumption in Xinjiang,but the effect is not significant. Fourth, through to the fields of population age structure analysis and comparison in the south of Xinjiang and the north of Xinjiang,The population age structure is different.The aging of the population of northern Xinjiang region level obviously higher than that of southern Xinjiang region, and have negative effect on the economic growth of northern Xinjiang.The growth rate of labor of southern Xinjiang region is greater than the north.It’s favorable for economic growth of southern Xinjiang region.But in fact owing to lack of labor tap potential,the economy development of southern Xinjiang is relatively backward.Finally, in view of the analysis of variation of population age structure in Xinjiang having impact on economic growth, this article put forward some suggestions from the population policy, improving quality of the labor, the rational flow of labor, the old-age insurance system on relevant countermeasures.
