Effective teaching can let the student individual development potential for mining, groups get progress, and finish the corresponding teaching task in a certain time. The geography new curriculum reform emphasizes the geography effective teaching is the key of deepening the reform of geography curriculum and the basic requirement. In this paper, the affiliated high school of Carey, rongjiang 2, rongjiang county town of loyalty and winner in junior high school, says ha tae-keung 2 four of the seven grade geography as an example to research and analyze some exploring effective teaching practice experience.This article mainly adopts the literature analysis, interview method, questionnaire investigation and comparative study method.Paper through consulting a large number of data after learning theory knowledge, began to theory construction, and then select part of the school of seventh grade students and the teacher teaching present situation investigation. On the results of the survey statistics, analysis the current status and problems of junior high school geography teaching the basic problem, put forward the corresponding effective teaching plan, choose loyalty rongjiang county town junior high school(3) the seventh grade class for that in comparative classes for experimental classes(4) the seventh grade class experiment teaching, and through statistical analysis of the experiment after one semester experiment, the experimental conclusion. Test at the beginning of the session with that in comparative classes students various aspects ability basic same, but the experiment teaching experimental classes after a semester of learning ability, practical ability and expression ability is far better than that in comparative classes. Also sum up the test and found some basic problems, and puts forward the corresponding strategy of the problem.
