Physical Situation Of Xiangtan Senior High School Students And The Intervention Study

Objective: Aiming at the special physique of students from high middle school caused by they study in a special environment with high learning pressure, short workout time, a comprehensive investigation were done about their life and physical health of Xiangtan high middle school, and recommendations about improving the high school physical and mental health of the students were taken, providing a theoretical basis and practical reference for the physical education of high middle school students.Method: Totally 600 students from 4 classes of Xiangtan high middle school,Xiangtan high middle school and Xingjian high middle school in Xiangtan city were extracted randomly to form a group. The group was to investigate the physique,lifestyle, body health and their mental health etc. In the form of a questionnaire, the lifestyle and mental health of high school student were understood. The physique of all the student were tested, and 80 students from the group whose physique can’t achieve a good level were divided into four groups, they are reference group, health education groups, sports groups and integrated group. During the test, each groupwas adopted different physical health interventions.Results:(1) Physical conditions of students from Xiangtan high middle school are mostly pass the level, and the number of failed the proportion is about a quarter,so the overall situation is worrying. Physical development is not good, the nutrition balance is poor, and there were some under nutrition and fat students. Total average score of mental health was at normal level, But due to the university entrance exam pressure, emotional problems, adaptation and obsessive-compulsive disorder, the influence of such factors as there were some problems more or less, and compared with the boys, poor girl status.(2) In the aspect of life, the main problems of Xiangtan city high school students is: irregular picky about food and meal times, be fond of puffed food and lack of physical exercise.(3) Through the subjects intervention trial for 12 weeks, we get the results as following: compared with statistical significance test for sports groups and maintaining, and maintaining health education group,compared with the experimental intervention, the former two groups of students body function and quality are greatly improved, after two groups of students’ mental health obviously improved; the test group which do have not statistically significant is thatthe health education group and control group, control group and exercise group.Conclusion:(1) The overall situation of physique students from Xiangtan high middle school is not optimistic. In terms of the aspect of physical function: the girl’s physical function is a bit poorer than boys, but all students’ body function is good; In terms of the aspect of physical quality, all of the students are not ideal, it is more obvious on girls; In terms of the mental health level, students’ overall level is normal.However, because of learning pressure, adaptability and emotional problems, some students have mild or moderate psychological problems,and the situation of girls is more obvious.(2) On the way of life, the problem of nutritional imbalance caused by mismatched diet structure found(picky), irregular dining time and liking to eat junk food and the problem of lack of physical exercise in Xiangtan high middle school have affected the healthy development of the students.(3) The physical and mental health can ensure learning with high quality and high efficiency. In order to improve the level of the physical health and physical function of the high school students,comprehensive intervening measures about exercise intervention and sport &education of health should be taken; To ensure the mental health of high school students, comprehensive intervening measures about education of health and sport&education of health should be taken.(4) Physical education can improve the students’ physical, education of health can guarantee the students’ good mental health, to meet the goal of the higher physical quality, better physical function and mental health,comprehensive intervening measures about intervention sport and healthy diet should be taken.
