The Communication Status And Influence Of Famous Overseas Online Class Among The Universities In Hebei

At present, Open Educational Resources Movement is flourishing in various countries and has already become a worldwide trend. Since the online courses of prestigious university was appeared in China, it has been paid great attention and aroused a heated discussion among communities and students, especially among the university students. Some of them will skip their own classes to watch the online courses.Based on this background, this research attempts to find out the impact of the foreign schools’ online courses have on the college students in Hebei province and its demand situation. By using the method of questionnaire and interview, this investigation has been made among undergraduates of Hebei University, Yanshan University, Hebei University of Technology, Hebei Normal University and other four colleges and universities. On basis of investigation result, I had prepared the "the spreading situation and influence of famous overseas online class among the universities in Hebei”, and issued the questionnaire in these four colleges and universities. A total of 420 questionnaires were recovered, of which the number of valid questionnaires are 400 copies. Excel and SPSS statistical software were used for data processing and statistical analysis.The research showed that the oversea online class has a highly knowing rate and plenty of users. But most of the users are focus on those famous courses, the watching frequency is related to the students’ reading time and their information literacy. With all these interference factors, most of the students can’t finish the online courses which they joined in, or even can’t finish one course. Although the online class could have a good influence on students’ study and improve their quality, there are still a lot of hidden worries. College students use online class is to meet their own needs, the same group has the likely thoughts and behavior, so the online class has been widely sought in the college students.The research give some suggestions to improve the application level of the college students: strengthen the construction and promotion of education sector; integrate the resources of online class and establish the professional platform; enrich the learning approach of campus network to provide a more easily and accessible website for students; encourage excellent teachers to promote the complementary fusion online class and the traditional classroom and make sure the college students can pay more attention to the online class.
