The purpose of education is not only to help students to gain knowledge,but also to help students develop healthy personalities and understand the meaning and value of life. Therefore, release pressure in the right way when in trouble or under pressure in the process of growing up, own correct outlook on life, world outlook and values, develop a greater understanding of themselves and find direction in life, come to be the target of ideological and political education. Educators are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of this ’life education’ in places of learning. However, life education is still in its infancy, and more research needs to be carried out into the effects of its implementation in schools. For reality this paper attempts to investigate the application of life education in high school in Liaocheng, Issues related to the implementation of life education in the high school are explored and solutions, which are feasible and based on scientific evidence, are provided. The author investigate several high schools in Liaocheng by questionnaires and interviews in teaching process, teaching content, evaluation methods, and the relationship of teacher-student for getting the first-hand information. It’s further strengthening the practical significance and value of the paper.This paper is composed of five parts. Part one mainly elaborates on the research background, purpose, wider significance, research methods, and provides a literature review of the implementation of life education in senior politics lessons. The second part is the theoretical basis, which includes the theory of life education and puts forward reasons for the implementation of life education in politcs class in high school. The third part is concerned with the problems of implementing life education in ideological and politics class. The main problems observed during the research were the vague of life values of high school students, the lack of literacy of life education of teachers, simple way and single method and the lack of educational environment in life education in school. The fourth section proposes the root causes of the problems identified in section 3. it contains two aspects. The object aspects include the stage of life education, the old system of examination and evaluation. And the subjective aspects include the analysis of the role: communities, schools and teachers play in life education. The fifth part details the measures and practice. This includes: the promotion, environment, literacy of teachers, teaching methods, system of examination and evaluation.
