Chinese textbook is not only the carrier of Chinese curriculum goal and content, but also the Chinese teaching media, which occupies an important position in Chinese teaching. It includes sample systems, knowledge systems, exercise systems and guidance systems.When four systems are reasonably organized, there is a basic structure of textbook. Then the exercise system is an important component of Chinese textbooks, which is indispensable. The exercise system helps the students understand, master and solidify the Chinese knowledge, and cultivates and improves the Chinese literacy, which according to certain aims to design a suit of exercise subjects.In the opening policy of a programmer for many clauses and sub-clauses in our teaching materials, all kinds of Chinese textbooks versions come out after the curriculum reform which begin in 1986. Each textbook has its own characteristics, and its practice system formation is different. This paper use the statistical analysis method to analysis the subject quantity, type and content of subject training of People’s Education Press junior high school Chinese textbooks and Jiangsu Education Press junior high school Chinese textbooks.Through the analysis we can find that the two junior high school Chinese textbooks’ exercise system have many common characteristics. On the subject type aspect, they are more on the comprehensive subject, less on memorial subject. On the content of subject training aspect, they all give priority to comprehensive the text and analysis the words, phrases and sentences. They all have ability tendency in design, but relatively neglect accumulative knowledge and cultural edification. They are also have each characteristics, the quantity of PEP edition’ subject is less, but the content of subject training is comprehensive relatively; the choose subject in the Jiangsu education edition is far more than the PEP edition, which means that the subject design of Jiangsu education is more open. Comparative Studies on exercise system of PEP edition’sand Jiang Su edition’s junior high school Chinese textbookThe schedule of two Chinese textbooks’ exercise system exist problems, that the comlexity’s gradient of exercise system is unconspicuous, exercise system training type is single and the content of exercise system training is incomplete.This paper mainly have two innovation points. Firstly, the paper have carried on the exhaustive analysis on the exercise systems of two version Chinese textbooks, listed the detailed statistical table, histograms and pie chart. This can make the situation of exercise system clearly in order to use and improvement the Chinese textbook. Secondly, it found that two versions Chinese textbook are all have ability tendency, which means the content of subject training should be more comprehensive.The deficiency of this paper is that there may have different opinions of the classification of some subject when its order is statistical convenience, an this paper just analysis from the quantity, type and content without further research. It will be refined in the future research.
