Novice teachers, who are at the starting stage of teacher’s professional development, have their unique characteristics and developmental tasks. Comparing with other stages, new teachers are easier influenced by reality, more fragile and need more help. Whether new teachers can get through this stage determines if they can continue to work in the teaching field, determines what kind of teacher they will develop into. If new teachers can get through this stage smoothly, they will form occupational persistence and will develop to the next stage. Otherwise, they may quit their jobs, let alone their development. This paper is just about the problems that new teachers face during their professional development. This paper adopts the fieldwork in anthropography, which requires researcher to get into subjects’ teaching life, to describe the problems that new teachers face objectively, to provide real, specific information of new teachers’ development. Then, I summarize the problems, analysis the reasons and find out the solutions. The research was conducted from February to July in 2013.I chose three new teachers of a primary school in Pi Zhou as the subjects. I conducted the research by taking their class, collecting their teaching design, interviewing them. The paper starts from the field research, collecting data from the teaching work and class work, analysis and summarizing the problems that new teachers face during their professional development. Then, according the collected data I analysis the factors this influence new teachers professional development that include extrinsic factors and intrinsic factors. The extrinsic factors include principal, colleague and instructor, school environment,. The intrinsic factors include the consciousness of development, practical knowledge, self-reflection, management and communication skills, educational tact. At last, I summarize the first two parts and put forward the solutions. The solutions include improve pay attention to the self development, formulate the occupational developmentplan. Manage exploratory practice, promote professional development. Arrange work reasonably and do the on-the-job training. Create good atmosphere, provide developmental space Colleague involve in novice teachers’ development, create teachers’ culture.
