In the autumn of 2010, Guizhou province formally started to carry out the New Curriculums Reform in ordinary high school. And the implementation of the high school biology elective courses have realized historical astride and penetration. But in the process, it must be restricted by various reality factors. There were 105 teachers and 153 students in 9 areas’(including trads and cities) in Guizhou and 35 high schools are regarded as object of study by the writer. Heused many ways: questionnaire, interview, the field classes view and so on. The author researched and analyzed the 9 districts’ implement of biological elective course in the 4 sides: Arounding the open subjects; the learning environment for students; course teaching and evaluation management; the factors’ affecting of curriculums. It provides reality references for educational administrative department’s course policies of making and successive theoretical study; At the same time, it is so vastly propel the local and others high school’s biological elective course that provide some scientific, efficient and favoring references.Drawing some conclusions through the research:( A)Schools are lacking of optional courses. The 35 high schools tend to open the elective 1 modules or(and) elective 3. No one of them has opened the school-based curriculum for students.( B)That’s not embody selectivity of elective courses. Among 35 schools’ students is forced to choose elective which made students loose their rights about elective courses.( C)There is short of the lesson environments conditions. 62.85% of teachers expressed that the school’s elective course policy was not completed and unclear; lacking of the lessons’ sources; imperfect conditions of lab; books resources and internet resources were not get rational utilization of effective; the teachers training were too less, what’s more, about 51% teachers never be trained or they did not get good effect from training.( D)There was less use of researching education, only 23.81% teachers used researching education; teachers almost through paper exam to judge students, about 6.67% teachers used form of growth record to judge students.( E)During the process of teaching, 67.35% teachers did a few of interaction with students or never did it;71.46% of them existed short of curriculum resource and the fact of 41.90% teachers who has faced the difficult problem were lacking of professional knowledge.( F)Too much teaching material contents, learning time is tight, personal basic is not good, teaching knowledge is difficult, which become the three major difficulties in the process of learning.( G)The college entrance examination system, shortage of courses resources, and the hard conditions of school become three factors of limiting the implementation of the high school biology elective courses.
