With China’s reform and opening-up policies, the rapid development of economy is promoting the innovation of productive labor tools continually. The characteristics that Productive labor tools have are technology, information, science and technology.Who want to use these new tools need high quality and high technology. Vocational education was regarded as a way that can train the skilled and practical talent. But facing the requirement of new productive labor tools, it can not only pay attention to the promotion of technology,but also to the promotion of quality. Music education was benefit to students’ abilities of creativity, imagination and cooperation, beyond that it was positive to students’ mental health and moral education. In short, it was important to Middle Vocational School.In recent years, it was obvious that our country pay more attention to Vocational education, no matter in policies or in funds. The city of Liupanshui also pay more attention to Middle Vocational education with government’s policies. But the status was terrible. As a graduate student in music subject teaching, I thought music program was necessary for Middle Vocational School though my three months’ experience in the Middle Vocational School. I hope this investigation have a positive effect on the development of Middle vocational school music program in the city of Liupanshui.Five parts consist of this thesis.Firstly, describes the topic background, the reason of the subject topics and its significance, sort out the reference materials and present it in a way of Review articles, and resume research method and relevant concepts.Secondly, sampling survey the Middle Vocational School of Liupanshui and describing present situation of music program form the policies of Middle Vocational School music program, attentions of school leaders and teachers, students, teaching medium. And present the survey result by diagrams and data.Thirdly, summarize the problem of Middle Vocational School music program in Liupanshui and to recommend appropriate solutions.Finally, summarize main content of this thesis and hope that this investigation survey could bring some good ideas to promote music program in the Middle Vocational School.
