The Present Survey Of High School Students’ Algorithm Applied Consciousness

With the development of computers,the algorithm has become a prerequisite to every citizen’s basic mathematical quality.The new curriculum reform will put the algorithmic basic knowledge into the high school mathematics classes and we hope that high school students can master the basic knowledge of the algorithm by learning the algorithm. And training the students to solve the practical problems and mathematical problems with the idea of the algorithm. This research mainly studies the high school students’ algorithm applied consciousness by starting from the concept of new curriculum reform in Chongqing.We have researched for the Algorithm applied consciousness of the students of Grade two in Chongqing Railway Middle School and has interviewed with the teachers of Grade Two, too.According to the result of the survey and interview, the author has analyzed the relevant date by using SPSS18.0 and the analytic result shows that:(1)The algorithm applied consciousness of high school students is weak.(2)The students’ own learning attitude and the degree of awareness of the algorithm have direct effects on the algorithm applied consciousness.(3)There is no significant difference between arts students’ and the science students’ algorithm appliedconsciousness.(4)There is no significant difference between boys’ and girls’ algorithm applied consciousness.(5) The teachers’ teaching methods have direct effects on high school students’ algorithm applied consciousness.(6)The setting of elective courses have indirect effects on high school students’ algorithm applied consciousness.According to the above analytic results: The author put forward some suggestions and ideas about improving high school students’ algorithm applied consciousness from the perspectives of students, teachers, schools and so on.So we hope that high school students can put the algorithm into the all high school mathematics classes better.
