With the development of the society, computer technology has been widely usedin every aspect of our lives. Algorithm—the coal of computer science, is becomingmore and more important. The reform of curriculum in Maths, which is the fundamental education, has taken algorithm as one of the key materials in the Maths teaching of high school. As a matter of fact, the practical meaning of algorithm can not be ignored. It can not only bring up the students' ability of methodical thinking and expressing, but also develop their ability of solving problems. It is also the premises of learning program designing. So how to utilize the algorithm teaching in the school education needs great emphasis and must be solved immediately.This research firmly complies the goals and requirements of algorithm teaching in the Standard. It shows great respect to the real conditions of mathematics teaching in senior high school. It uses methods such as document analysis, theory thoughts, observation and discuses the goals, principles, methods and problems deserved noticing in algorithm teaching.The research embodies such aspects as followed:The first section discuses the background and vitality of research on senior algorithm teaching, and introduces the thought, methods, main ideas and innovation of the research.The second part summarily states the origin, concept, character of the research in algorithm. It introduces the history and recent state of algorithm in and abroad. It summarizes the deficiencies in research. It proposes the characteristics of algorithm teaching in senior Maths curriculum.The third section constructs the implement of algorithm teaching in theory, and studies the goals, principles and methods of algorithm teaching.The forth section is based on the third part, puts the teaching plan into practice, and obtains timely feedback, then proposes the value and problems deserved noticing of case study in algorithm teaching.The research is based on the original achievement in this aspect and strives to break through and innovate. This mainly embodies in the following aspects: put forward five principles in algorithm: the principle of integrating theory with practice, the principle of breaking away from the seriousness, the principle of giving prominence to strategy innovation, the principle of mastering concept in system step by step, and processing the strategy of combining case study with algorithm teaching in senior high school.
