Research On Employment Situation Of Hebei College Graduates In 2014

Since the expansion of the college in 1999, the number of fresh graduates increased rapidly, employment issues become the focus of the whole society. If employment issues have not been addressed effectively, it will negatively impact on social stability, the development of higher education and the realization of graduates of personal value. This paper based on interrelated theories, used questionnaires, quantitative analysis, empirical analysis and normative analysis to analyse the current situation of Hebei’s college graduates employment. It also discussed factors that affect the employment of college graduates. In the last, it proposed measures to promote full employment of graduates.Firstly, this paper introduces the content of this research and interrelated theories. It comments the current research on the employment of college graduates both at home and abroad. It also defines basic concepts such as college graduates, employment, etc. At the same time, in order to provide theoretical support for the follow-up study, this paper explains interrelated theories such as the Okun’s Law, Keynes employment theory, etc.Secondly, this paper analyses the situation of Hebei’s college graduates employment in 2014. According to the descriptive statistics of questionnaire survey, this paper analyses the current situation of Hebei’s college graduates employment from the employment status and the employment concept of graduates.Thirdly, this paper discusses factors that affect the employment of fresh graduates. First of all, it analyses the socio-economic situation of China and Hebei in a macro point of view. In order to promote full employment of graduates scientifically, this paper depends on survey data and adopts regression analysis to analyse individual and family factors that affect graduates employment.Finally, this paper proposes measures to promote full employment of graduates. It puts forward suggestions on how to promote Hebei’s college graduates employment from the perspective of government, society, universities, individuals and families.
