With the change of China’s reform of the university employment system and employment situation, the employment problem of college students have become increasingly prominent. The employment problem of higher vocational college students as an important part of higher vocational college students is becoming serious. Many factors influence the employment of graduates, besides economic development, employment environment, employment system, personnel system, public and other factors, individual students employment concept for the occupation choice also plays an important role in.The paper analyzes the external environment of higher vocational college graduates employment and the internal environment, and taking Hebei Institute of Machinery Electricity as an example, respectively in 2013 sessions of graduates employmentsituation and some enterprises employing units to carry out the investigation andanalysis of the employment situation, achievements and existing problems, to further improve the personnel training system of higher vocational education, making training plans and provide scientific on the basis of professional development planning and talent, but also lay the foundation for improving the level of running school.The paper first analyzes the history and present situation of higher vocational education development in China; secondly, points out the current situation of employment of graduates in higher vocational colleges is facing new situation and employment; third, the higher vocational college graduates employment intention and employment psychology conducted a questionnaire survey and analysis, reveals the causes of the current higher vocational graduates employment; finally put forward to solve the problem of employment of graduates from higher vocational colleges and the countermeasures and thinking.The rapid development of economic globalization, the employment situation of graduates continue to change, new problems appear constantly, in order to fundamentally solve the problem of employment must from set out actually, strengthen the research, the construction of individual students, schools, society and the joint efforts of the government to promote employment pattern, transmission of high-qualityskilled talents for the construction of the state.
