Objective: to evaluate the learning strategies of the current domestic research is mainly aimed at college students, less study of middle school students’ English learning strategies. This study Anning experimental school students as the research object, on the basis of investigating the present situation of the learning strategy, combined with the characteristics of middle school students, mentoring scheme design for middle school students learning strategies, and the effect of the scheme for inspection. On the basis of empirical research, combined with the theory of learning strategies, and thinking are put forward on the improvement of middle school students’ learning strategies.Methods: this study in Anning experimental school students as the research object, using English learning strategies questionnaire of Anning experimental school of 365 students of the investigation of the status quo of the learning strategies, and the book a course of learning strategy guidance according to the results of the survey, any spare as experimental group, the first four class in the experimental group for three months learning strategy guidance, using experimental control group before and after the test design of quasi-experimental research from the level of learning strategies and English achievements, the effects of learning from review examines three aspects counseling effect.Conclusion: 1, the present status of experimental school students learning strategies in Anning in terms of English learning strategies of each dimension in peace experimental school were no significant differences between junior and senior students. Peace experimental school, junior and senior students in English learning strategies, the affective strategy use frequency is highest, cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategy again, communication strategy is used least. And divide four strategies are the mean theory about 3 points, show the four types of strategies in English learning strategies, in peace experimental school junior and senior students have been used, but the extent of the use of these strategies have larger space. And the senior students of grade one junior school students, their English entrance examination results with the use of English learning strategies have a certain degree of correlation between. In Anning experimental school 2, the first intervention aspect of improve students’ learning strategy status, on the level of learning strategy, by intervening in the experimental group after learning strategies level higher than the control group, showed that learning strategy after the intervention, the experimental group and control group learning strategy level had significant difference; On academic performance, through the English scores higher than the control group, experimental group after intervention showed that learning strategy after the intervention, the experimental group and control group of English grades have significant differences. On the above research, this paper puts forward improving Anning experimental school students’ learning strategies level of thinking.
