Curriculum resources is not only an information source of course, but also constitute the basic elements of education reform, especially it is a prerequisite to ensure the smooth progress of curriculum implementation. Currently, the rational development and utilization of curriculum resources, as a strong demand of the new curriculum reform,gradually got attention on curriculum resources researchers. Local curriculum resources show geographical characteristics of the particular region, ethnic customs, traditional culture and teaching philosophy of curriculum resources. Culture is the biggest source of information of course content, and colorful Chinese culture contains great quantity of chemical-related curriculum resources. Without a doubt, fully tap the development and utilization of curriculum resources, it will promote the common development of local education, economy and culture.Different ethnic regions, under the influence of the long history of evolution and natural environment, built a culture which has in the region and national characteristics.Over the years, the Uyghur people gradually formed a very different culture on the life practice and production activities. These culture which contains many chemical knowledge are an important curriculum resources. At the same time, new curriculum reform has also been required and emphasized settlement of curriculum and development of curriculum resources, and it should be suitable for the student’s survival, demands on development, and the social needs of his survival. And based on the development and utilization of high school chemistry curriculum resources of the Uyghur culture reflects this kind of need and just waiting for the development and utilization.In this study, first of all, reviewed a large number of relevant literature, and mastered the research progress of curriculum resources both at home and abroad, and determined the research topics, ideas and programs which were referenced with previous researches and methods; Secondly, understood chemistry in our region such as teaching and development and utilization situation of curriculum resources through questionnaire investigations and interview methods; Thirdly, visited and interviewed southern Xinjiang regions, such as Kashgar, Hotan and Aksu, which are rich of the Uyghur culture, and collected and developed chemistry curriculum resources of Uyghur culture, based on basic principles of local curriculum resources development; Then, comprehensive analyzed and studied through the relevant contents of high school chemistry textbook,and the related connect contents which will have developed of curriculum resources andtextbooks, finally, designed high school chemistry teaching cases through these chemical curriculum resources.Different ethnic group of students in Xinjiang grow up in the strong Uyghur cultural environment. Rational development and utilization of chemical curriculum resources based on Uyghur culture, which is not real return to the student life and experience for course content, but improve the chemical classroom teaching effects. While enhanced the sense of national identity, under the in favor of background of cultural diversity, and tolerance between the races of spirit and open mind to different national culture, and promote mutual respect, mutual tolerance, mutual reference and harmonious development.
