High school education occupies a special position in the education system, and it is an educational staget which peole attach importance to in the whole life. After historical target of nine year compulsory education is realized basically in our country, as for high school education, especially for the ordinary high school education rather than the vocational high school, people demands more high quality of educational resources than the mere quantity. What’s more, the outer pressure from the present “academic society” leads to people pay more attention to the question of equal access to education. The contradiction between the lack of educational resources and people’s increasing demand is becoming fierce. To a great degree, entering the high school, especially the ordinary high school or the key high school, becomes the vital element for students to go to university, especially the key university. Therefore, the problem of high school educational opportunity becomes the situation of educational equality. That is the situation of receiving high school education for students of different genders, coming from different areas and different family. The paper try to explore(the influence of family background on students’ entrance opportunity) the oretically and empirically paying more attention to the problem of fairness in high school educational stage.Through the diagnoses, the study found that the primary cause of inequality in high school educational opportunity comes from the expanding demand for high school educational and lack of high quality education resources;the difference among the family economic capital and social capital,cultural capital and social capital;The academic society boosts it to come into being.Research shows that students(who come from families dominating in economic condition, political power and cultural resources)have more obvious superiority than those coming from the opposite families.
