The first Waldorf School in the world is founded by Rudolf Steiner in Germany in 1919. After a development of nearly one century, Waldorf Education has become the world’s largest and fastest-growing, non-religious independent education movement. And Waldorf Schools can be found in many countries with different cultural backgrounds and social values. For decades, Waldorf Education in China rises gradually and develops rapidly, and consequently, people will know the benefits of Waldorf Education better if we study it in a detailed way. This paper takes the student management system of Waldorf School as a breakthrough point in order to provide beneficial reference for the school student management in the future.This paper discusses the theoretical background and educational thought of Waldorf School, which mainly lists the management practices. For this article, student’s academic management is a characteristic: students study major courses and specialized courses through self-made textbooks to achieve the personalized teaching; students learn the rules by playing games; and the homework is assigned step by step, without too much burden, thus students can cultivate other hobbies. Characteristics of Waldorf School activities are also introduced: Eurhythmy, gymnastics of the heart, can release the student’s mind and body; the teacher can influence the student’s value through the characters in the story; and the student needs to make toy by himself/herself to develop creative and operational abilities. Waldorf School encourages students to deal with problems independently, and the punishment has been rarely used. The school is of diversified evaluation principles, descriptive evaluation results. Finally, we shall take use of the independent and individual education goals, the artistic teaching method, the diversified comments for reference.
