Fragment learning refers to a kind of flexible and nonlinear learning style of acknowledge, grasp, use, innovate a variety of relatively independent courses, technology, curriculum or their inner independent content. The fragment learning is a common phenomenon in the process of the adults in colleges and universities. The adult learning have extensive ranges, varies types and diversity connotation, while due to the adult learners’ particularity of themselves, they have different learning characteristics compared with the students in colleges and universities. Usually, they conduct learning activities until they encounter problems or difficulties. When the problem is resolved, learning activities will be finished. Therefore, their learning activities are short-term, immediate purpose towards. Once the goal achieved, learning activities stop immediately. When the next problems appeared again, they participate in learning activities once again. That is to say, the learning activities is episodic, intermittent in the entire adult career, which is different from patterns of the learning continuity of the children or adolescents. This paper takes the adult fragment learning of H university for the research subject, with the use of literature research method, questionnaires method, interview method etc, try to research the adult fragment learning of H university.This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction part of this article, mainly introduces the origin, purpose and meaning of this research, domestic and foreign research present situation, research methods, the key and difficult aspects of research, the innovation points of the article. The second chapter introduces the related concepts and the theory basis of this research, focuses on non-continuous education theory, life spare theory, return educational theory and Knowles’ adult learning theory. The third chapter know about the status and influencing factors through the questionnaires and interview. The fourth chapter makes an deep analysis to the adults fragment learning of H university. The fifth chapter based on the status of adults fragment learning, and put forward the specific strategies to promote the adults fragment learning, from the aspects of the society, the colleges and universities, the adults, their family and the workplace.
