Most middle and high school in Seoul Korea have opened Chinese language courses, and Chinese culture teaching have been an indispensable part of it as the important effect on improving students’ communicative competence and interest in learning. Since CPIK project implemented, the cooperative teaching Chinese began commonly used in middle and high school Chinese lessons in Seoul. Cooperative teaching carried out jointly by a Chinese volunteer teachers and a Korean Chinese language teacher. Unlike traditional teaching mode, two teachers must be work as a division of labor. It results three different cooperative teaching mode: Korean teacher led-Chinese teacher assistant, Chinese teacher led-Korea teacher assistant, China and Korean teachers co-led. We believe that during the cultural teaching should be based on cultural themes and teaching design to adapt reasonable teaching mode. Based on the observation of other teachers classes and individual teaching practices we conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews between the Chinese and Korean teachers and students in middle and high schools who join the CPIK project in Seoul. The survey including the views and suggestions about culture courses arrangements, cooperative teaching mode, teaching forms, teaching language, teaching materials, teaching environment, teaching difficulties in Chinese language cooperative teaching especially in culture teaching. According to the survey results we summarized the current teaching problems and suggestions, and strive to stimulate students’ interest in learning Chinese language and Chinese culture, and to improve the quality of teaching.
