Research On The Present Situation And Development Countermeasures In The Aspect Of Discipline Construction Of The Public Management In Jiangsu Province

The meeting of the 3rd Plenary Session of 18 th CPC Central Committee,made an overall deployment to comprehensively deepen reform in our country, which involves a large number of reforms in the field of public management. It is supported by the system of public management theory under socialism with Chinese characteristics, which requires a positive research,exploration, innovation of issues related to public management discipline construction. By studying the present situation of public management construction in Jiangsu province and proposing specific suggestions, the construction of theoretical public management theory system under socialism with Chinese characteristics can obtain practical support.The development of public management discipline in Jiangsu province is closely connected with and China’s reform practice and the problems appeared in the process of China’s social and economic development. Although, this discipline developed rapidly in such a short time, many problems have been exposed. For examples, lack of theoretical accumulation due to the short developing,uneven geographical distribution of the public administration,discipline in college, the improper structure of teachers, lack of equivalent carrier in discipline organization.The reason is that public administration discipline is being ignored and being restricted by the economic development.Besides,the absence of strong policy support, lack of high-level intellectual in the process of construction, no clear direction in subject construction also have negative effect.Therefore, tentative suggestions should be put forward to improve the public management discipline construction in Jiangsu province, through multiple channels to speed up the pace of building and public management theory by increasing the accumulation of public knowledge management. Accelerate the equalization of public management discipline regional distribution.Strengthening the building of the ranks of teachers and developing the characteristic discipline is very important for constructing a scientific public management discipline construction system,promoting the development of college of public management discipline in Jiangsu Province. All the initiatives have a profound historical significance on realizing the higher, faster,stronger development of public administration discipline in Jiangsu.
