Discipline construction is of great significance to the development of a university.The level and height of disciplines determine the quality and status of a university.Briefly,discipline is the foundation of running a university.The research object of this paper is the subject of educational economic and management,but at present,the research on this subject is scattered,and there is no systematic research on the subject itself.Educational economic and management,as a unique subject in China,has gone through more than 20 years of development.If we want to have a comprehensive understanding of this subject,we need to solve the following problems: how to study the current situation of educational economic and management? What are the problems in the current development of discipline? And how to solve these problems?These are the key issues to be solved in this paper.The basic functions of modern universities are mainly realized through disciplines.Therefore,this study continues the three basic functions of Universities-"scientific research","talent cultivation" and "social service" as the logical main line,runs through the study of the current situation of disciplines,disciplinary problems and disciplinary development countermeasures,and through the comprehensive use of literature research,statistical analysis,and knowledge graph.The method of econometrics is used to analyze the current situation of educational economics and management.The results showed that:(1)In the field of scientific research,the discipline of educational economics and management is currently positioned as an independent discipline of "cross-disciplinary","comprehensive" and "applied".The research methods of the discipline are mainly multi-disciplinary research methods:the scientific research achievements of the discipline show the characteristics of a wide range of research fields,and focus on the key and hot issues of the disciplineresearch: Research topics tend to be diversified in scientific research projects,and the total number of projects shows a fluctuating growth.(2)In the training of disciplinary talents,the academic loci of educational economics and management show the overall balance of master's degree and doctoral degree : the goal of personnel training reflects the characteristics of schools and adapts to the needs of society: the curriculum types are rich and the forms of courses available are diverse:the comprehensive strength of discipline teachers is strong and teachers' backgrounds are diverse and integrated.(3)In the aspect of subject social service,the subject social service mainly focuses on scientific research service and provides consultation and decision-making: the characteristics of subject social service are to meet the diverse needs of social service objects and pursue the practicability of scientific research results.Through the research and analysis of the current situation of the development of educational economics and management,we find that there are the following problems:(1)in scientific research,the orientation of the discipline is not clear enough,the theoretical level is not deep enough,and the academic research results are scattered,which affects the academic status and development of the discipline:(2)in personnel training,the training objectives are lack of pertinence,and the curriculum is lacking.Comprehensive,lack of professionalism of teachers affects the quality of discipline personnel training :(3)In social services,the deviation of service concept,poor organization and operation management,lack of laws and regulations to guarantee the effectiveness of discipline social services.On the current problems of discipline the author puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:(1)in scientific research,we need to build a discipline system,pay attention to the basic research of discipline;(2)in personnal we need to improve the quality of natural acquisition training,pay attention to the innovation of methods:(3)in social services,we need to change the concept of service and consolidate thebasis of service.In addition,this study also prospects the future development trend of education economy and management: the trend of cross-integration of education economy and management will be more obvious,and the introduction and protection of education theory will promote the deepening of evidence-based research paradigm.
