It’s hard for the second language learners to speak Chinese if they didn’t learn the Chinese vocabulary. Therefore, the vocabulary lies in the core status in Chinese learning and the teaching methods of the vocabulary can not be ignored.Using the literature study, this paper summarizes the achievement and insufficiency of the vocabulary teaching methods in the second language teaching, analyses the current situation of domestic scholars’ researches on Thailand’s Chinese vocabulary and comprehend the depth and width of other scholars’ study on the Chinese vocabulary teaching methods in Thailand. All this are prepared for this paper.This paper collects the relative information of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Krabi senior high school through questionnaire survey, interview and so on. With these information, this paper can summarize its current situation, analyse its influential factors. Meanwhile, with the combination of the second language teaching theories, this paper presents some teaching advice which aim at the insufficiency of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Krabi senior high school from the perspective of the learners’ vocabulary learning.Those are the main advice which include the combination of context presentation and words presentation, paraphrase with several ways instead of mother tongue translation, comprehending the words in depth which are practiced by games, reviewing the words scientifically and remembering the words in group.
