Recently,there are more and more people who start to learn Chinese in Thailand,because of the progress of China's comprehensive power and the influence of Chinese culture.However,there are lots of differences between Thai students and Chinese Students.Therefore,as a volunteer teacher in Thailand,to find correct teaching methods is key to fulfill the teaching goals and to spread our splendid culture.Meanwhile,it's very meaningful to know and to catch Thai students' learning motivations,learning levels,and hobbies,and to make full use of these motivations and personalities,for the development of teaching methods and for the progress of the students' Chinese learning level.There are four parts in the paper.Part I: The first part is the introduction.The author describes the significance of the topic,the current research,as well as research methods and teaching research.Through some methods,such as observation of practice,interviews,and statistics on the students to learn Chinese motives,students' Chinese learning level,and students' hobbies,the author carries out researches and analysis.Part II: The writer of this paper analyzes the students' studying motivations and makes some teaching strategies.These motives are to travel to China,be curious to new things,to find a job easily and so on.With a sincere heart,the author would like to strengthen students' learning motivation,to stimulate and encourage those students who don't have learning motivation or don't like learning.Part III: The third part is the teaching strategies based on the fact that the majority of students' Chinese have no foundation of learning Chinese.Through the analysis of the reasons for the learning level of students' Chinese language proficiency,the author takes the advantages of the students' zero base by taking the some quizzes,and carrying out Chinese culture activities,in order to grasp the critical period of students' language learning and to improve the level of Chinese language learning.Part IV: The forth part describes methods of teaching students based on the students' hobbies and characteristics.Through the combination of teaching and painting,carrying out Chinese songs competition,and Game Teaching methods,the authors would like to make full use of students' hobbies and to correctly guide the vitality of students.The author's teaching strategies were based on her real teaching experiences,combined with practical facts.Proved by concrete practices,these strategies conformed to the students learning condition and teaching rules.Successfully,the author fulfilled her teaching mission.But it was insufficient in the summary of Thai students' personalities.So,the author will perfect this paper with inexhaustible thoughts and energies,to let it be a great paper,beneficial to teaching careers of Chinese in Thailand.
