Survery the situation of inquiry experiment on two demonstration schools of Guiyang city, carry out the inquiry experiment to explore the problem, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions on experiments.Through questionnaire, interview and visiting to survey the development and implementation of the biological inquiry experiment of Guiyang city high school biology. Designing the teachers’ questionnaire, firstly investigate the Guiyang city school teachers in two denonstrations schools, understand the teachers’ understanding of the value of the inquiry experiment as well as the difficulties encountered in the process, know what help to them, and teachers’ attitude to the inquiry experiment, etc. Secondly make a preliminary investigation on Guiyang city was carried out two high school science students; understand the current situation of students’ learning inquiry experiments. To solve practical problems, this study combines with the investigate analysis and experiments operation.Analyze compulsory textbooks and elective of inquiry experiments and carry on the preliminary experiment to explore relatively simple and highly effective method, put forwaed reasonable and improved teaching plan, suggestions to provide a reference for first-line teachers.The following conclusions(1)High school biology teacher identity inquiry experiment value, for inquiry experiment students show strong interest, students get more help after inquiry experiment, most students can practice what they learnt, and nearly 50% of the students said they like the zetetic experiment teaching.(2)Reason: the reason doesn’t open the experiment is experimental facilities is not perfect, the degree of teaching material for the school teachers is not high, insufficient to inquiry experiment training, experiment discipline is hard to rule etc.(3)Help: teachers hope that schools can increase the experimental facilities and experimental material; get the improvement project of experiment instruction manual and the experimental video information, etc.(4)Carry on the preliminary inquiry experiment, explore some improvement project of experiment, and provide a reference for first-line teachers.
