Bilingual Teacher evaluation is a necessary part of the implementation of bilingual education.The evaluation involves about bilingual teacher merit and value judgments, is directly reflected in the value of their teaching work. Therefore, bilingual education to improve the quality of Ethnic Minorities in whole, to promote the sustainable development of bilingual education in minority areas, and maintain the harmonious development of society as a whole has important practical significance.In this study, the use of literature analysis, questionnaire, interviews and other research methods. The main contents of this study include the following parts: The first part is the concept of teacher evaluation, focusing on the ethnic Area evaluation meaning, and discusses a study of the theoretical basis. The second part is the questionnaire, from the understanding, implementation and effectiveness aspects of evaluation to get a better understanding of the status quo, and then make a summary. The third part of is the analyze of the results of the questionnaire, elaborated on the main ethnic Area bilingual teacher evaluation questions: Firstly, bilingual teachers evaluation team is weak, theoretical research lags behind; Secondly, bilingual teachers understanding fuzzy evaluation, the standard from practice; Third, bilingual teachers’ lack of scientific evaluation program, the lack of bilingual characteristic; Fourthly, bilingual teachers evaluation implementing standardization is missing, evaluate the effect not beautiful; Fifthly, bilingual teachers evaluation supervision mechanism, the lack of effective restriction. Part IV analyzes the reasons for specific ethnic Area proposed to improve the evaluation of bilingual teachers suggestions: First of all, we must strengthen the bilingual teacher evaluation theory research, give play to the theory instruction practice effect; Secondly to deepen the bilingual teacher evaluation, formulate scientific evaluation criteria; Moreover also improve bilingual teachers’ evaluation scheme, highlights the bilingual characteristic; Again should attach great importance to the standardization of bilingual teachers evaluation implementation, improve the effect of evaluation; Finally, bilingual teachers should establish supervision and evaluation mechanism, effective standard evaluation process.The evaluation of bilingual teachers in ethnic minority areas in xinjiang need not only to the joint efforts of the state, autonomous regions, bilingual schools more need the bilingual teachers’ play initiative at the same time, actively participate in the evaluation, make recommendations to improve the evaluation system. Only then, bilingual teachers in xinjiang ethnic areas to clear in the evaluation of their own professional development present situation and problems, promote the teacher professional development, to ensure the learning effect of students.
