At present there are still some disadvantages in some middle school Chinese teaching:Firstly,the teaching is boring,espically the units of fiction,drama, writings in classical style, prose and so on.Teaching mode and the method are single, so students have no interest in learning. Secondly,teachers ignore the listening and speaking training.It is unfavorable to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive ability. Thirdly, the Chinese teachers only pay attention to the knowledge,and neglect the ability training, aesthetic education and moral education.It is not conducive to the all-round development of students. In view of this, many scholars believe that the textbook drama is a good kind of teaching aids.In author’s view, we should to say the definition of textbook drama from the broad and narrow sense.In the narrow sense, the textbook drama is the adapted drama essay according to the primary and middle school Chinese textbook. In the broad sense, the textbook drama is the adapted drama essay according to the extracurricular reading,the classics and the "live" life too. This kind of textbook drama includs drama, opusculum, Chinese opera, reading, and other forms.This paper is completed by the author who collected data through literature method, observation method, survey method, and combined with personal experience, which is divided into four chapters. The first chapter briefly summarizes the origin of the problems, literature review, the core concepts, research purpose,significance and methods. The second chapter analyzes the related issues of the textbook drama theoretically. Firstly, the author illustrates the feasibility and theoretical basis of the textbook drama,which includs the theory of multiple intelligences, implicit learning and cooperative learning. Then the author elaborates a variety of forms and types of the textbook drama from three different classification standards. Finally, this paper discusses a variety of functions of the textbook drama. It is helpful for students’ learning interest, the development of comprehensive ability, the formation of good personality traits, and the improvement of Chinese teachers’ professional quality, and the inheritance of drama culture in our country. The third chapter discusses the current situation and existing problems of the textbook drama.The current situation includs two parts,which are middle school language classroom and the Chinese comprehensive practice activity.And the author find that there are many problems with the textbook drama. Firstly, some schools and teachers are lack of understanding of the textbook drama.Secondly, only some students participate in the textbook drama.Thirdly,the individual teachers use the textbook drama frequently and improperly.Fourthly,the creation of scripts deviate from the topic,which is lively but meaningless.Finally, teachers are lack of knowledge and can not guide students properly. Through the analysis of the typical cases of the textbook drama in the third chapter, the fourth chapter and then summarizes the specific operating mode of the textbook drama in the middle school Chinese teaching,which includs selection, preparation, writing the script, acting, discussion and guiding the students.And then the article puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies.In the first place,the textbook drama should gain the understanding and support of people from all walks of life.Secondly, let all students to participate in the activities of textbook drama.Thirdly, according to the text type and the characteristics of students to use the textbook drama reasonably.Fourthly, on the basis of the respect for the original purport,we can innovate modestly.Fifthly, pay attention to the type selection of the textbook drama,and play the maximum functions.And then, enrich the corresponding knowledge,and give students the appropriate guidance.Next, focus on the process and generative characteristics of the textbook drama. Finally,the teachers should set up the outlook of the big Chinese education,and help students to learn from the life.The purpose of this paper is to put the related content of the textbook drama to everyone, and to provide the types and special optimization strategies of the textbook drama for the first-line teachers in the middle school. That makes teachers and researchers know, understand, value and use the textbook drama. And the author thinks that the textbook drama can make the middle school teaching more colorful,and can promote the development of teachers and students together.
