This study selects metal health as research subject, extract about480Junior high school students from Yangzhou and Taizhou region in Jiangsu Province as research object, with methods adopted a two-pronged approach by use questionnaire and case study. Through the "social support scale" and "perceived social support scale"(PSSS),"emotional intelligence scale"(EIS),"middle school students’ mental health questionnaire " get research data, come to realize Junior high school students’ emotional intelligence, social support and mental health status, by means of the statistical analysis to know the complex relationship between these variables. Combined with a typical case study to explore the auxiliary improve Junior high school students’ mental health policy, Put forward effective suggestions to provide reference for mental health education in middle school in our country.The research results are the following:1. There is exit a mild or moderate degree mental health problems in40%junior high school students.2. In The junior middle school, girl students’ level of mental health are low than boy students’; The first grade students’ level of mental health are high than the second grade students’; Single-parent family level of mental health are low than core family students’.3. In general, the level of social support among the junior middle school students is above average. The ability of perceived social support among the junior middle school students is satisfactory.4. The junior high school students’ emotional intelligence was negatively related to mental health problems, There are three dimensions negatively relate to mental health problems:emotional perception, self-emotion regulation, others emotion regulation, and self-emotion regulation is the most important dimension.5. The junior high school students’ social support and the ability of perceived social support were negatively related to mental health problems, There are two dimensions negatively relate to mental health problems:subjective support, the utilization of support, and subjective support is more important than the utilization of support. 6. There has a interaction among the junior high school students’ emotional intelligence, social support, mental health problems, and the most important dimensions is the ability of perceived social support.7. social support and emotional intelligence can be changed with psychological counseling, with the level of social support and emotional intelligence improved, the junior high school students’mental health problems can be reduced.
