Based on the theories of education, learning and team, this study takes secondary vocational school teachers’ teaching leadership in A city as the object. After a long and careful observation and analysis, I study the current situation, existing problems and countermeasures of secondary vocational school teachers’ instructional leadership.Then I analyze the problems, shortcomings and internal and external factors that affect the teaching leadership of secondary vocational school teachers. Finally, I give some countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems.In the course of study, I was focused on the status of secondary vocational school teachers’ leadership in A city. Through the on-the-spot investigation, interview,observation, the questionnaires of sixteen selected teachers’ teaching leadership were deeply analyzed. In order to guarantee the validity of the information collection, preinterview was conducted before the formal interview, and the interview outline was further revised. The qualitative data analysis software Nvivo 10.0 was used to analyze the data of interview. The study of ethical issues was concerned about and the reliability and validity of the research was assured.The first part of the thesis summarizes the problems, significance and related concepts. In the second part, the basic theories and viewpoints of the teaching leadership of the secondary vocational school teachers are classified. Especially some theoretical knowledge such as relevant viewpoints and experience were analyzed.And take this as a theoretical basis for the analysis of the status of secondary vocational school teachers’ leadership in A City. The third part introduces the research status of the teachers’ teaching leadership in A City, and analyzes the situation. In the fourth part, the thesis introduces the difficulties and countermeasures of implementing teaching leadership of the secondary vocational school teachers. The views on how to improve the teaching leadership of secondary vocational teachers are clarified.
