With the rapid developm ent of vocationa l education, quality of education has gradually attracted people’s widespread attention. The key to the quality education is in the teacher, thus more human and financial resource should be invested in the training of teachers during the process of Education Reform.The improvement of teaching skills of teachers is th e necessary action that should be taken in th e Education Reform. Because the teachers in this work is also a kind of occupation, it should be based on the development of the society and constantly updated, enrich and improve the professional structure, to meet the needs of economic and social developm ent and the demand of its developm ent. The professional development of teach ers in terms of both th e teachers of the overall development, also has the professional development for teachers through teacher occupation life. Especially for the teachers of higher vocational education has dual attributes, quality of teachers and professional knowledge on one hand to have the institutions of higher learning, experiences and skills practice, on the other hand there must be high, therefore it is not easy to achieve the goal.The innate strength of higher vocatio nal education in our country is insufficient, and the teacher professional development theory was introduced into China time is not long, the system research is a lack of it. How about the development of Higher V ocational Colleges in our cou ntry at present professional, what the issues are, what steps need to be taken to promote the teachers’ professional development of Higher Vocational Colleges in China has become an important research topic.Based on the previous research results, using the m ethod of literature, questionnaire, interview, case analysis and other methods, through the analysis of the development situation of higher vocational education in our count ry and its facing bottlenecks, to find a m ethod which can meet the demand of social development of the education teaching mode, and im prove higher voca tional students’ quality. To enrich the content of teacher professional development theory system in our country, make up for the deficiency.The thesis consists of five parts:(this part does not write like this, and the research content is the same, to modify)The first part: introduction. The paper introduces the background, purpose and significance of research, methods of research object, reviews and research status of home and abroad, in order to m ake the research of this paper can stand in a theory of the commanding point.The second part: the theoretical basis of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional development overview and research. Overview of the development of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional mainly includes the concept of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional d evelopment, historical evolution and theoretical foundation of the content; Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional development is the main theory and the lifelong education theory of education. Higher vocational teachers’ professional d evelopment content is a key, because the survey on Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional developm ent behind the m ain as the standard, we think that the higher vocational teachers’ professional development content mainly includes professional philosophy, professional knowledge, professional skills, professional spirit, practice ability, social ability.The third part: case study on the professional development of Higher Vocational teachers. The current situation of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional development in China and existing problems through practical investigation.The fourth part: th e analysis of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional development strategy. The main research of the vocationa l college teachers professional development should follow the principles: the principle of people-oriented, the principles and the principle of sustainable developm ent of all-round development. And then on this basis to try to put forward the countermeasures and suggestion s of Higher V ocational Teachers’ professional development in China: one, build the teachers’ professional dev elopment campus atmosphere; two, reform and improve the system of teacher professional development in higher v ocational colleges; three, enhancement of Higher V ocational Teachers’ professional development consciousness, improve the teachers’ professional development ability; four, strengthen the training of Higher Vocational Teachers’ professional practice ability; five, improve the teachers’ professional spirit and occupation moral consciousness; six, constructing multi level teacher training system.
