Mid-occupation nursing education is an important part of nursing education system in China. Since the founding of New China, especially in the reform and openness, mid-occupation nursing has been rapid development that plays a unique role in china’s economic construction and social development. But also just in general, the nursing students’ practical ability is not enough and can not meet the needs of the community. Strengthening practice teaching is the key to accomplish talent-cultivating objective of mid-occupation nursing education and is the basis for training skilled nursing personnel.This study choose mid-occupation nursing practice teaching as a starting point and reveal the problems of teaching practice through research, and "student-centered" scenario simulation teaching method were introduced on mid-occupation nursing practice teaching.To explore how to effectively implement scenario simulation approach in practical teaching, in order to break through the traditional method of teaching practice and open up new paths for mid-occupation nursing practice teaching reform.The thesis firstly investigates the current situation of mid-occupation nursing teaching practice in Hengyang and analyse the main problems in mid-occupation nursing teaching practice, and put forward the significance and necessity of introducing scenario simulation teaching method in nursing practice teaching. This thesis designs scenario simulation teaching programs that were implemented for classes taught in their own, and the effect of the implementation process were analyzed and contrasted. Finally, This thesis put forward some suggestions, such as actively collecting and design teaching cases, coordinate the teachers and students, the creation of clinical nursing teaching scenario simulation, improve teaching conditions of the practice, and improve teaching evaluation system of the practice in scenario simulation teaching method of mid-occupation nursing practice teaching for the problems that exist in mid-occupation nursing education.
