This paper uses many methods to invest and analyse Middle school physical load conditions in Beijing, Zhengzhou, Jingzhou, Jiaxing(selected 10 secondary schools randomly in each region, including urban and urban/rural junior high schools), including document-based research, measurement, observation, questionnaire, logical analysis, mathematical statistics etc. Through the practice of middle school physical education content, the density of each part of the practice time, strength design condition are analyzed, in order to understand the current status of middle school physical load design, to invest the present situation of middle school physical education load control. Sports load is one of the index to measure physical education effect, so this article carried on statistical analysis on the situation of middle school students’physical exercise heart rate to know the current middle school physical load. This article made some conclusions below:1.The average time of pre-class preparation of the PE classes in the investigated middl-e school is a litter lower than the standard time.2.The majority of PE Teachers think that middle school students’sports load regulatio n has obtain good affect through all sorts of control measures. Factors affecting the effects of regulation mainly are lacking enthusiasm in exercise, less in sports equip-ment type and number, limited sports venue.3.In middle schoolPE classes, the girls’average exercise heart rate is lower than the boys’.4.At present,the physical quality of middle school students is poor, the overall exerci-se load in PE classes is less.
