As An Ideal Society Of Moral Community

Durkheim’s theory of society is mainly seeking for the formation of the modern social order. 1789 Revolution had religious colors in its early time, freedom and equality was given sanctity. Not only it nourished revolutionary idealism, but also ignited the passion of concern which brought all complexity. "Freedom, Democracy, Equality" what the Revolution promoted has become universal values, but it din`t make France step on the road of development, which showed circulation of violent revolution. While individual obtained self-liberation, they don’t care political, on the contrary, caught in a chase materialism captivity, which resulting in a reproduction of a traditional centralized system. The French system of government loose two totalitarian-democracy and strong swing. How to end the violence in the ongoing revolution in French society and the formation of a stable social order, became the core issues facing social thinkers.The crux of social disorder is the imbalance between individual and social relations, that is to say, the individual in the modern society is in the extreme expansion, while the society is always absent. Thus, the reconstruction of the modern social order is to find the way to make the social forces to play, that is to say, to rebuild the moral community, to find a new social bonds to replace the gradual decline of religion, family and other traditional community organizations. As the organization form of the economic life and the individual, the vocational law group can create a small community of independent individuals, and form a new "collective consciousness" as a standard system to constrain individual behavior. As another organization carrier, the state realizes the reconstruction of individual personality through the means of moral education to cultivate the individual with perfect personality in the modern society. Thus, the moral community can be rebuilt, the individual is also realized under the influence of the professional law and the state, and the society will be in order, and the two is a very important reference for the reconstruction of China’s social order in the period of transition.
