Children’s musical teaching method(also called children’s song and dance drama music education) is one of the forms of applied theatre. Children’s musical teaching method means to use dramatic elements and methods in the process of teaching other subjects and in other teaching activities with other purposes, through the collective writing children’s song and dance drama works with the help of professional teachers to achieve students’ education for all-around development.Application the children’s musical teaching method in Yunnan province supported by several advantages, that is the right place, the right time and favorable conditions. In the process of this project implementation, we found that, due to the lack of support of theatrical knowledge and skills, how to practice children’s musical teaching method more effectively in Yunnan Province is the key point to smoothen the implementation of the project. Therefore, the study of this problem is particularly urgent. This paper will discuss the problem from the aspects of the script writing. After field studies,lots of practices in schools and observation, this dissertation argues that priority should be paid from the following two aspects. First, the script writing skills in children’s musical teaching method suggested in this paper can help non-professional teachers and students start the teaching activities more quickly with closed structure of the setting and style. Second, the way to establish a dialogue platform with drama is helpful to students’ education for all-around development. The most important of all, students practising in children’s musical teaching activities get first-hand experience and understand what is happening through learning by doing.
