Ninety years since the last century, the western "teaching reflection" thought was introduced in the educational field in our country. It caused great repercussions, and many scholars and teachers have carried out studies on it. With the implementation of basic education curriculum reform deepening, teachers’ reflective teaching getting more and more attention. And the new view of teachers and teachers’ professional development require teachers to become reflective practitioners. A lot of teaching practices has proved that reflective teaching not only helps teachers to establish a correct concept of education, can also promote the rationalization of teaching behavior and sustainable development of teachers’ specialization. As an important method of teaching reflection method, case reflection method also plays a huge role in promoting the progress in the quality of ideological and political education and the improvement of teachers and students. The case reflection is not only a method, but also a teaching idea that needs teacher to practice. The implementation of case reflection method not only needs the teacher to have the realization of case reflection, teachers need to master the ability and skills.The ability of case reflection in a certain extent can reflect the teachers to meet the requirements of the new curriculum practice. Therefore, political teachers must have ability of case reflection to adapt to the new curriculum reform and modern notions of teacher to teacher’s request. Although using case reflection method can achieve dual goals of teachers "learn to teach" and students "learning to learn", but not every teacher carried out case reflection in teaching. This makes how to improve political teachers’ case reflective consciousness and ability has become a critical issue, which is also the core issue of this paper. This paper will discuss from the following three aspects of the case reflection and teachers case reflective ability.In the first part case reflection method are described. First in drawing lessons from the domestic and foreign many teaching reflection theory and practice research on the basis of teaching reflection and case review method were defined. Then combined with the requirements of ideological and political curriculum reform and teaching goals and make adefinition of the case reflection method. Secondly, the paper summarizes the basic characteristics of the ideological and political education of the case of a reflection.In the second part, the feasibility and importance of case reflection method is analyzed from two aspects. First of all, from the improvement of the quality of teachers, case reflection method itself characteristics and students’ physical and mental development characteristics demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of case reflection. Secondly, from the three aspects of teaching, teachers and students demonstrated the significance of the case reflection method in Ideological and political courses.The third part proposes measures to improve the effectiveness of case reflection method. Mainly from two aspects of teachers and schools. Teachers must have the initiative to carry out the case reflective method. Teachers should strive to enhance the profundity and rationality of case reflection method. Finally, teachers have to communicate and cooperate with other teachers to seek cooperation and common development. The school need to provide help for the politics teachers to carry out case reflection.Carrying out case reflection is to meet the needs of the new curriculum reform and practicing the modern views of teachers. It is to meet the needs of changing the current status of Ideological and political course teaching and realizing the development of both teachers and students. This paper focuses on the reflections on the case method of Ideological and political education and how to improve the teachers’ ability of reflection case based on relevant theoretical basis. Hoping that it can play a positive role in helping the ideological and political course teachers carry out case reflection smoothly and effectively, so as to contribute a strength to the professional growth of the ideological and political courses and students’ long-term development.
